Sad to see that this has become a mere product showcase

weeeell, allow me to repost:

What the Fuck is this shit?
Who the Fuck Are these people?
Where the Fuck is Micheal Dawson?
Where the Fuck is the Cobra?
Where the Fuck is Chip??
What the Fuck is this heavy handed salespitch?

Dawson wouldnt have been so clumsy with his sales. Dawson would have slid it in so smoothly I didnt even know it was there. And Cobra would been there to hold my hand through the whole thing, comforting me with his caterpillar lip. And chip woulda got the whole thing on tape and sold to unscrupulous internet video providers.

Holy Fuck this is disappointing.

Brutally bad. What a shame

Overproduced, sterile, and completely unwatchable. Brewing TV was great with Dawson, Keeler, and Chip because it was like hanging out with some dudes who were really passionate about brewing. They had great banter, didn't take themselves so seriously, and didn't seem like they were trying to sell you something. I became a Northern Brewer customer because the way they promoted it was genuine, like how your friends would tell you to try a great restaurant. This new Brewing TV is almost insulting with the heavy handed promotion. Whoever is in charge of this project needs to be replaced with someone who actually understands marketing.

August 9, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterDean

Wait...you can keep a keg cold by putting it in a bucket of ice? Is that what home brewing is about to Northern Brewer now? A crummy commercial for a bucket? Are you going to be selling Northern Brewer Ice too?

Is that the guitar riff played during the Brewing TV title screen ripped directly from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack? Or did you record someone playing it on a new Northern Brewer Guitar?

I lasted to 1:36 then went back to work.

Very disappointing. Way too much like an infomercial. Tried watching twice, and just couldn't do it.

Northern Brewer, first of all, thank you for bringing back BTV. However, this comeback episode is a missing a certain "attitude" that drew the original BTV crowd to NB in the first place. While the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of the three musketeers (Jake, Michael, and Chip) from the program will be a mystery to the end of time, it would be greatly appreciated if at least an attempt was made to keep the BTV format the same. The original crew had a truly unique on-camera dynamic that will be difficult to replace, but this episode was simplistic and contained painfully obvious scripted rhetoric that has a better spot on a product demo page than a homebrew informative. I won't stop supporting NB or BTV, but someone has to speak up to let your corporate overlords know that if BTV is going to be used solely as a tool to attract customers into the store, then they are going to lose the support of their biggest diehard fans that became accustomed to anxiously waiting at the computer every couple weeks for a new BTV episode to air. All the best!

Very Very disappointing, I hope you all fox that. It feel like an infomercial, the is no personality. These people (who i am sure are good people) have no personality. You really don't understand how disappointing this is. I truthfully can't believe it myself, im kinda in shock. WOW horrible!

August 13, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterM-Train

This is really a disappointment. You've turned a show that embodied the soul of homebrewing into a poorly produced infomercial. Shame on you.

I was really happy to see that Brewing TV was back! 10:09 minutes later I wasn't so happy. Great, now I'm really sad.

This is Brewing TV? Wrong. This was a complete waste of time for all involved. That's fine if you waste your employees' time, but don't waste mine. I've been a long time viewer of Brewing TV and waiting for a new episode after hearing rumors of new content coming out. As a loyal customer/viewer, I was hoping NB would continue a great show. Fail.

Why are there subtitles? English subtitles while people speak plain English is incredibly annoying and distracting. I fail to see the point.

You referenced "Keg in a can" over and over. I've never heard this term before, and apparently neither has Google. https://www.google.com/search?q="keg+in+a+can" Then, the subtitles called it a "keg in a keg". WOW. It's like you're not even trying. http://youtu.be/kJ7ufAt5uL4?t=47s

You reference a "foam free tubing kit". So this pours a perfectly flat beer? http://youtu.be/kJ7ufAt5uL4?t=1m38s

Why do you have "Mystery Beer"? Are you that disorganized? http://youtu.be/kJ7ufAt5uL4?t=2m28s

Horribly sloppy subtitles. Words like "cuz", "gonna", "gotta", "alot"? Again, WOW.

Are you really suggesting we "dress up our event" with a ghetto, 7' tall pile of 2x4's and plywood?? Why are you insulating the CO2 line?? Why aren't the connections even hooked up??

Do all the jockeyboxes from NB come looking like they've been eaten by rats? http://youtu.be/kJ7ufAt5uL4?t=5m54s

You are not forcing CO2 into solution while serving from a jockeybox, you're serving beer that already carbonated. Misleading, bordering on false information. http://youtu.be/kJ7ufAt5uL4?t=6m51s

Very disappointing to read that you're deleting negative comments. Censoring your critics is just cowardly. This show sucked out loud. Deal with it. Apologize and do better next time.

That's great if NB wants to make product videos, you should, but those should be attached to products on the website. What I just watched is not a "show", this was a cheesy, corny, infomercial of people reading a script.

Brewing TV used to be a great show highlighting specific areas of brewing and going into great detail. The cast had character and personality. The shows had substance; we learned things. The shows dealt with a wide variety of topics from traveling to breweries I'll never get to see in person, to interviewing experts. Topics from basic brewing practices to very advanced methods. Basically, it was about the world of BREWING!!! Bring back the REAL Brewing TV!!!

August 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterEx-BTV Viewer

LAME. This shouldn't be called Brewing TV anymore. More like an infomercial for NB. That serving board was hideous, I would be embarrassed if that was at a wedding. No decent internal shots of that ghetto jockey box. CHOP AND BREW is the future. Google it.

August 21, 2013 | Unregistered Commentersmitty

Wow, what the heck was that?!? I had wondered why I hadn't seen an episode in a while, now I guess I know why. I can only assume that you let the threesome of Dawson, Keeler, and Chip go. Pretty sad. They made BrewingTV what it was.

If this is what BrewingTV has become, then just let it die. I normally don't even read comments much less write them. I actually went to seek out more information about what the heck this was and felt compelled to comment.

Disappointed in Milwaukee...
