Been busy with a newborn and am just catching up on past episodes. i have 4 2nd year hop plants, 2 cascade, 1 centennial, and 1 chinoook. The centennial and chinook both got diseases i couldnt figure out how to fight and didnt produce much. The 2 cascades gave me about 3 pounds of fresh hops which went in to 10 gallons of pale ale. It was definitely my best beer yet. Have any of you had any issues with disease? Right now mine are planted in the ground, but i am thinking about moving them to a new location this spring. I am planning on planting them in 55 gallon plastic barrels because i may be moving at the end of the year.
